These bulbs are large, flattened but quite thick. It has rich, dark purplish skin and white, pink-tinged flesh with red concentric circles. It is possessed of a fine mild flavour and is great when eaten raw . It can also be cooked and used as a flavourful addition to the main course. It is very productive variety and a very good keeper.
