This plant is easy to grow. It has a slightly bitter taste that goes well with dishes such as risotto. In addition to being tasty radicchio is said to be good for insomnia and purifying blood. It is popular for adding zest to vegetarian diets.
This attractive, fast growing vine does well in cool climates, and features spectacular pink flowers, followed by yummy yellow fruit. It often produces in its first year, so train it well against a trellis or similar support. The fruit of this variety are not as sweet as the normal passionfruit, but still very yummy.
